Check out the winners of the 2016 InterDrone Film Festival! 


This week saw the official announcement of the winners of the second annual InterDrone Film Festivalheld in conjunction with the InterDrone Conference.

The winners of the 2nd Annual InterDrone Film Festival were announced live at a ceremony at the Paris Hotel in Las Vegas on September 7th,  2016.

Awards were presented in 6 competitive categories, with an additional Best Video Award going to Michael Bishop for Into the West. Michael won the grand prize and a check for $5,000 for his wonderfully captured movie filmed across Western North America starting in Alberta, Canada, road-tripping down through Western US, and continuing south to Mexico.

The People’s Choice Award, which came with a $500 cash prize, was awarded to Frederic Rousseau for his video Moon Line in the Action Sports category.

Ehang were the main sponsors of the 2016 InterDrone Film Festival with Craig Glover, Marketing Director for Ehang USA hoping that next year there might be some entries from Ghostdrone pilots worldwide!

This year there were more than 320 submissions from 23 countries according to Ted Bahr, Chairman of InterDrone. “The judges had a hard time selecting winners in each of the six categories as well as the winner overall” said Ted.

Next year’s InterDrone Film Festival will be held at the Rio Hotel and Casino, Las Vegas from September 18th to 20th, 2017. Submissions will be accepted from mid-May 2017.
