A team of licensed drone pilots, producers, directors, editors and data analysts to advise on your project.
Should you use drones? That we can tell you at no cost. Let’s devise a plan to use drones! We will give you a budget.
Our Emmy Award winning media team are on hand to devise exciting content.
By collaborating with our partners we can advise on how you turn aerial content into actionable data.
Case Study # 1
Client: NUI Galway
Title: Diabetes Drone Project
In January 2019 we were contacted by Professor Derek O’Keeffe in NUI Galway asking if it would be possible to deliver medicine via drone to the Aran Islands just off the coast of Co. Galway.
In September 2019, Skytango project managed the world’s first BVLOS (Beyond Visual Line of Sight) delivery of insulin via autonomous drone to a remote geographic area and collected a blood sample to return to the mainland.
The Skytango software was used to record the compliance of not only aviation regulation protocols but also the transport of medicine regulation.
Case Study # 2
Client: An Post (Irish Postal Services)
Title: Delivering The Future
We were approached by An Post (Irish National Postal Service) to produce a PR video that involved an autonomous parcel delivery over 5km of open water – the first autonomous delivery in the country.
We advised on the approach and put a budget together for a project that had elements of marketing and of R & D.
We managed the project from inception to completion which included the engineering of a Heavylift drone capable of the task.

Case Study # 3
Client: Dublin Smart Cities
Title: SBIR Illegal Dumping Challenge
We presented a solution to Dublin Smart Cities to monitor, quantify and tackle illegal dumping in the Dublin suburban and rural areas using drone technology.
Phase 1: Feasibility
We undertook a feasibility study on the use of drones to monitor illegal dumping and aid prosecution. We put a plan together of what was possible and what was not possible at this moment in time with regard to local regulation and devised a media campaign around the problem.
Phase 2: Machine Learning
Based on our feasibility study recommendations, we developed a proof of concept to use drones to identify trash from the air, geotag it on a map and present that data on a dashboard in conjunction with other data from a given area so the end-user can devise informed action plans. Phase 2 was successfully completed in August 2018.
