Drone Volt Launches Janus 360Discover Janus 360, a new drone able to take pictures and videos that, once assembled and processed, can offer immersive 3D experiences and 360° videos.

Virtual Reality is a disruptive emerging technology which has dramatically improved in the last few years.

It’s now transforming industries such as cinematography, tourism, advertising, sports & sports training, gaming, design & architecture, construction, real estate and many others.

As technology advances, price points decline, and a new marketplace of business and consumer applications hits the market, Virtual Reality/Augmented Reality have the potential to become a game-changing and multi-billion-dollar industry – and soon! Heather Bellini of Goldman Sachs Research expects virtual and augmented reality to become an $80 billion market by 2025, roughly the size of the desktop PC market today.

Drone Volt, a French company specializing in manufacturing, and marketing civilian drones for professional use, has just launched Janus 360 – a new drone able to capture spectacular aerial images used (after video processing) in virtual reality playback systems, goggles or helmets.

Janus 360, equipped with ten 4K cameras spread over 2 heads, is able to take pictures and videos that, once assembled and processed, provide an immersive 3D experience for virtual tours and 360° videos.
